Ethiopia Launches Six Wind, One Geothermal Power Project (Green Options)
Ethiopia’s ramping up its clean energy power production with the announcement
that construction’s beginning on six wind power and one geothermal power
project. A regional energy “powerhouse,” the wind and geothermal power
projects are viewed as complementary to Ethiopia’s substantial hydropower
resources, and are viewed as central to the East African nation’s economic
