Seth Thomas wall clock question?
After we adjusted our Seth Thomas wall clock today (because of the time change), our clock would not work. The pendulum moves correctly, and we even put in brand new batteries, however, the hands seem frozen. We have had this clock for nearly 4 years, and we have never had a problem until today. Please advise on how to fix the clock. Thanks!
Oh my gosh!!! THE SAME THING! We’ve had the clock for about 5 years…I’ve done the same thing twice a year!!!! You’re not the only one….hopefully we can find an answer!!!!
Follow Up: I spoke to a clock repair, and he said when if you moved the clock backwards, you probably broke a small spring…. He said you can either make it a decorative piece now…..(nonworking) or you will have to replace the “movement”….Depending upon the type you have it could get pricey…. I just have a mantle clock and it will probably cost around $50 or so…. Good Luck!
