How To Enjoy Budget Living With Style
Wouldn’t it be great if we could all afford to live in a penthouse with floor to ceiling windows that looked out over the New York skyline or a tropical reef. It never hurts to dream, but if you’re a student or a worker who is still struggling to make ends meet, you’ve got to make do with what you have. With a little imaginative flair, you can live comfortably even on a tight budget.
Studio apartments can feel cramped and uncomfortable. The bed seems to take up most of the living space and what’s left of it is taken up by your desk. What can you do about it? If you find a studio with a loft, you can put together a loft bed with desk. Your bed is only for sleeping and your desk is only for working or surfing the net, so really are a waste of space in your living area.
With those out of the way, you are likely to find that your living area is really quite spacious. Indulge in a nice comfy easy chair and a couple of comfortable chairs or a couch for entertaining. After that, take a look at how to improve your kitchen. Start by checking out some rice cookers.
Many studio apartments have very small kitchens with limited cooking and storage space. Rice makers are a great way to conserve space because they can be tucked away when not in use. That way, your one or two burner stove can be used for stir frying or steaming. There’s a very compact and efficient Sanyo rice cooker on the market that would be perfect for your studio space.
Forget about a dining table. When you do entertain, you and your friends will be happy to hang around the coffee table. Keep that in mind when you choose yours and don’t skimp too much on the size of it.

Light colors always add space to a room, so stick with those. Then choose pictures that also make the room feel larger. Landscapes are good for that. A travel poster of tropical paradise makes you feel like you’re looking at a distant horizon.
These few ideas should give you an idea of how you can live well on a budget. Don’t let things get you down. Keep an upbeat attitude and some creative sparks flying and you’ll find that you don’t need a penthouse to stay happy.
