Stainless steel watch question?
hey all,
i dont know if you’ll be able to help me but i thought it was worth a shot.
my boyfriend has recently brought me a new watch (a links of london sweetie watch) which is stainless steel.
now, the other week we went swimming, i took my watch off before i got into the pool and once i was out i put it back on. now, the inside of the watch has turned a funny colour which me and my boyfriend think was caused by the chemicals that were still on my skin after the swimming.
basically my question is, can my watch be re-plated? the shop that it came from said that as it was technically my fault they wont change it. when i wear it at the min, as the top coat isnt there (on the inside of my watch where it touches my skin) its sending my wrist green. just want to know if its possible.
any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

So sad, but you can always try and stick something to the underside to prevent contact with your skin (edit,..after viewing link, it does not say that the back is stainless)
