Original antique painting by GEORGE DAVIS?
nEED INFORMATION ON AN ORIGINAL LARGE PAINTING OF TWO BIRDS I BELIEVE ARE RUFFED gROUSE. On the back in pencil it is signed George Davis and was either painted in1758, or1858. It is in a very old original frame with slat wood back and hand made nails. I know it is very valuable, but can not find correct information. Someone know about this artist. It looks primitive.
