Portable Monitor With RCA Input?
I am in need of a small, portable (MUST run on batteries so I can carry it around) monitor to connect my Mini DV camera to it and view the image from my camcorder on the monitor.
I have a JVC Digital Video Camera
Model Number: GR-D340EK
Sockets (Output/Input): AV, S-Video, Firewire
I can connect my camera to a TV using an AV to RCA cord but my bedroom TV isn’t very portable and I wondered if there was some mini LCD monitor or portable TV that I could use instead. I have read that I could use some kind of adaptor to change the big red, yellow and white ends into one small end (like on headphones).
Can anyone point me in the direction of a monitor e.t.c. like this (preferably around £60 which is about $92).
I don’t know about the cost, probably higher than what you want, but B&H Photo has many models of such monitors, designed specifically for mounting on video cameras.
