What can I wear with these wedges?

I bought these wedges at Lord and Taylor and I love them, but I’m not sure what to do with them. My mom thinks it’s weird if I wear them with shorts. What do you guys think?

okay so a purple dres. would look amazing with this but I think a good look would be jeans but it might be to warm so leave that for partys Nd stuff but shorts would look weird because of how chunky they are so skirts or dresses are best for them.
