Mechanical Double
Is a summer course is Thermodynamics difficult?
I’m an Aeropspace/Mechanical double major and considering taking Thermo this summer to make up for the Spring (I had a recent family tragedy this Spring and had to withdraw the semester). Is Thermo more difficult in the summer (shorter/faster schedule) or harder because of the faster pace?

That depends on what kind of classes you’ve taken in physics beforehand. If you have a decent background in physics you’ll probably be fine. Also I’d recommend that you take multi-variable calculus if you haven’t already. Thermodynamics basically lives in multivariable calc. The innards of it anyway.
Myself I’d be hesitant to do it over summer because a lot of people find thermodynamics to be dense and difficult to understand……but others don’t.
