How do I create a sound detonator using a electronic timer?
I am an avid paint ball player and my buddy’s and I wanted to create an objective game where you need to plant a sound bomb. I wanted to basically use a digital kitchen timer to set the time and when time expires a Loud sound will go off. Can anyone please help?
* You also bring up a good point about the safety issues related to “other applications”. I know, I have seen all of the other negative ones on the internet already. I was thinking along the lines of combining a electronic timer with a stereo or a smoke alarm. I have no intention of using this for evil. I just don’t understand electronics enough to do it myself, so if anyone can point me in the right direction, it would be appreciated.

Yoiu need to understand how the various devices that you want to use work, their power needs, and what you want to accomplish with them. Once you have that figured out, use your imagination, provided that all of your computers and electronic games have not robbed you of that ability. If the ability to use your imagination still works, then put together the device you want to build.
