Germany Cuckoo Clock
HELP! My SLOW cuckoo clock is driving me coo-coo.?
I received a made in Germany cuckoo clock for Christmas. It is running several minutes slow per hour. The instructions say to push the pendulum up to make it go faster but show no picture. All I have is a piece of wood that swings attached to a wire. When I push the wire up, it goes up several inches without any resistance and then hits something (I can’t see what). I pressed the wire against the unseen object hoping that would make it go faster but it doesn’t appear to make a difference.
As I wrote above: HELP!
Not the wire, friend, just the piece of wood. There must be a way to push the piece of wood up along the wire and then fix it again in the new position.
