Genuine Swarovski Crystal
Do you think it would seem tacky/cheap to give out handmade jewellery for christmas?
Hi everyone,
This year we have quite a strict christmas budget and I was wondering if it would seem a bit cheap or tacky if I gave handmade jewellery to all the girls in my family and my partners family?
I will be making it all using genuine swarovski crystals and 925 sterling silver, and presenting it in velvet covered jewellery boxes. I wanted to make them each a set with a necklace and matching earrings. It just would be a bit cheaper than going and buying it all from the stores and this way I can make each one their favourite colours?
Thoughts?
That certainly doesn’t sound cheap or tacky, I would love a handmade and unique gift like that so don’t worry. You must be really creative to make nice jewellery, I bet they will appreciate them.
Also, have you thought of making extra and selling them on ebay? Let me know if you do so I can make a bid for a set!
