One of client review is D Struble. Here is what he said with regards to Acer Tab A500 “I’ve experienced the Acer A500 tablet for 4 weeks and love it. My organization is new to Android hence am learning its features. Pretty easy to purchase but there are almost certainly nice features I haven’t yet discovered.

What I prefer about the tablet:

• The monitor is richer and sharper than my laptop that includes a premium monitor.
• Fine size for handling plus viewing.
• It is really a comfortable weight. Not as bad as I was expecting from comments comparing it into the iPad. Much, much better than lugging the laptop especially if you wish to check something while watching television.
• The virtual keyboard is easier to apply than I expected. Great size.
• The full-size in addition to mini USB ports. I haven’t had to use the mini-HDMI port but My organization is glad it is right now there for future use.
• Long battery life. Not as long as the iPad but plenty long enough personally.
• The free Kindle application. I like this superior to my wife’s Kindle. Whilst this can’t compete within bright daylight, it needs no secondary lighting for reading at night. It offers three different viewing backgrounds, white, sepia in addition to black. Haven’t tried it however the black might work throughout bright sunlight.
• YOUR SLINGBOX APP!! This can be sweet. For those who have no idea of Slingbox gives you access to your TV/DVR anywhere there is certainly internet. I have used this for decades on my laptop out of my back deck daily then when we travel. The picture around the Acer is more crisp than the older Slingbox t has been on my laptop. In order to use ion the tablet I had to upgrade to that newer Solo and load it to my laptop computer. Sling gives a $50 low cost for upgrade. Solo upgrade is $139 delivered. The cost of the app for this tablet is $30. The Slingbox rep warned me that this app hasn’t been optimized intended for tablets yet. I have found it to be exceptional on our home instant. It may lose some thing on 3G. “.
