Talking Alarm Clocks: The Voices Of Awakening

Waking up isn’t difficult if you have the right guidelines that you have to follow. First, you should always go to sleep early if you’re going to wake up early the next day. Second, you shouldn’t get drunk or get wasted tonight if you’ve got to go to an early appointment tomorrow. Three, you should get a good talking alarm clock if you really want to get out of bed.

Alarm clocks are great devices because they are very functional. They help people wake up early, they allow people to not worry how they’ll be on time for an important meeting the next day, and they’re very easy to use so people don’t get confused using them. People even get extra functions from these devices like radios, CD players, lamps, iPhone chargers, and so much more.

Sometimes, an ordinary alarm clock is not enough to wake you up, especially if you are a really heavy sleeper. You either need to be scolded at or be splashed with water in order for you to totally get up. Things don’t always have to be like that, though. If you could find a different way of waking you up, wouldn’t you prefer that?

If you want a human voice to scream at you and wake you up but you don’t have a bedside partner to do that or you live alone, better get a talking alarm clock. Having a talking alarm clock is like having a sleep mate or bed buddy who wakes you up in the morning. These machines use human voices that are recorded in their systems as their alarm sounds.

Some talking alarm clocks have simple and conventional features similar to ordinary alarm clocks. The only difference they have is that talking alarm clocks “talk”, and they say stuff to you instead of ring a melody or a bell in your ears. It’s really more comfortable to hear the voice of a person wake you up than just a buzzing or beeping sound.

Though they may be human voices, they aren’t simply human voices. Talking alarm clocks don’t just talk but they talk and talk and talk until you’ve come to your senses. They talk loud, too. Most of the talking alarm clocks in the market tell you the time as a signal for the alarm, which goes like this: “It’s time to wake up! The time is six o’clock in the morning.”

It’s quite disappointing that Sony doesn’t have alarm clocks with talking functions, seeing as they are one of the most trusted electronics companies in the world. But it is also acceptable because they have released a lot of other alarm clocks that are also very functional and stylish. Nonetheless, it would be great to see a Sony talking alarm clock somewhere.

Talking alarm clocks are remarkable because of their speaking functions and they are also user-friendly and very functional like conventional alarm clocks. So if ever you feel tired of using your old alarm clock that keeps on ringing and beeping in your ears, you might just find a talking alarm clock more suitable for your preferences.
