Clock White
Props help! I’m making a “china” clock from plaster. I need help with what to make the mold out of…HELP!!!
So: We’re performing Three Sisters here at my college and I’m in charge of making a plaster clock (white plaster of paris, powder stuff) and I need some idea about what I can pour the plaster into to give it a dome shape. Preferably something cheap and easy to cut because I’ll have to cut the mold off of the plaster in order to get it out!
we are making it out of plaster because at one point in the play, the clock is dropped and broken. I’ve made plenty of things before out of plaster, but nothing that I’ve had to duplicate.
Please, serious answers only! Technical theatre lovers please help!!!
find a sturdy box a little larger than what you need the clock to be, and make the mold inside it from ceramic clay
