Why do i keep seeing 11:11 and what does it mean?
i see the number 11:11 a lot on clocks, it started earlier this year when a friend saw it on a clock and said “its 11:11 make a wish” but after that, everyday i see 11:11 on a clock. at first i thought it was because i have a class change that occurs at 11:12, but over winter break i was seeing 11:11 everywhere. i see it in the morning and at night, last night i was watching the news and they said “its 11:11 and it is 10 degrees, we will be right back!” wtf i see the number 11:11 everywhere, i see it on cars, clocks, paper, math problems, i see it all the time. what does 11:11 mean and why do i keep seeing it. any help would be great. thanks
11:11 is the time of day when legend has it that one can make a wish, and there is a greater chance of it coming true.
Though history is vague, it is clear that this myth originated from another one – that of wishing on a star. That, combined with the fact the the number one is the only one that ever fills all four spaces on a 12 hour digital clock simultaniously led to this rather unusual belief.
