12 Hours Wall Clock Have Been Proven To Be A Timeless Timepiece
Are you familiar where the “clock” word originated? The clock word derived its name from Celtic words “clagan” and clocca” that represents bell. As of today, clock refers to something that displays time. Digitally made clocks are also very popular in this time period just like those conventional clocks that we use before.
The most essential invention that humans have created is the clock because it is the oldest and most significant among many other things that were budding today. We no longer apply that old method in identifying the time just like in ancient times for we are already in the era where most of the things that we use are digitally made but even though these digital stuffs are very extensive now just like the use of digital clocks, some of us still prefer the conventional wall clocks that we have known before.
Clocks are specified in different types like the 24 hour clock or what is commonly known in the term “military time” and the 12 hour clock is a time alteration rule in which the 24 hours in a day are divided into two times that is called in Latin words “ante meridiem” (a.m.) or “before midday” in English and “post merediem” (p.m.) and it is called “after midday” in English. Countries like Australia, the United Kingdom, India, the Philippines and Pakistan applies the 12 hours clocks as their standard time system.
12 hour clocks are created along with different designs because a person who creates them knows that they are the type of clocks that people all worldwide use in general. Roman numerals are how the numbers were written and can be seen in large wall clocks. 12 hours clock can be traced back from 1500 B.C. back in Ancient Egypt and as far as Mesopotamia where they use sundials to be used during the daytime and water clock for night time use.
Generally, the wall clocks that we use today are 12 hours wall clocks. You can also use contemporary wall clocks and they’re also numbered from 1 to 12 and has different styles as well that were designed to fit anyone’s choice. 12 hour time structure was recognized throughout Northern part of Europe as the customary foundation in measuring the time during 15th and 16th centuries.
Modern wall clocks that has 12 hour dial is commonly preferred than those 24 hour clocks because the time in 12 hour clocks are easier to read. A notable feature about 12 hours clock is that it relates to directly to analog clocks that only displays 12 hours.
